ABOUT US

Our history.

The curvy world comes from a natural and cyclic transformation of the woman's silhouette. Historically curvy women were synonymous with well-being and well-off social position, as they could economically afford to eat more without having to do heavy physical work. With the passage of time, for example in the years of world wars, woman's body got transformed: taking the place of man, engaged on the front, and therefore having to take her place in factories and in the countryside, women takes on a more masculine appearance. and consequently more androgynous. In the '50es, thanks to the post-war economic development and desire to start again, women shorten their skirts,

highlight the waistline thus enlarging the hips , extend their generous necklines, thus showing a softer woman called "hourglass". With the advent of ready-to-wear, the designers of the 90s instead wanting to highlight the dress rather than the model that wears it, choose a filiform woman is very very thin at the expense of roundness. Up to our days when the situation of economic crisis, social and psychological degradation, loss of traditional values brings back the desire for beauty, femininity, romance and lightheartedness ... so women with their roundness come back into fashion, their "buttery" side is always less spigolous, just as if they wanted to say "to hell with the problems and let's enjoy the life!!” Daniela Vantaggiato
